What is the Ash Church Millennium Fund?

There has been Christian Worship on the site of Ash
Church for more than 1000 years already.

During that time, successive generations have added to
the building from the Knight's Templar in the Middle
Ages to the Victorian Vestry

The Current Congregation wants to embrace its
responsibility to future generations and mark the
2000th anniversary of the birth of Christ by
repairing, maintaining and enhancing the church
buildings.

Repairing and Maintaining the Church Bells
To make sure that the sound of the bells continues to
be heard in the 21st Century, repairs need to be made
to the bell tower to ensure that the bells are safely
housed without fear of damage to the structure or
danger to the ringers. Like any other piece of
machinery with moving parts, the bells themselves need
maintenence so that their working life is maximised.

Enhancing the Church with a New Room
A modern thriving church needs facilities to match.
The church room that we propose to build will be put
to many uses, preparing refreshments, holding meetings
and not least, toilet facilities.

Please help us to achieve our plans...be part of an
ongoing tradition that is already 1000 years old.

Revd Lionel Kevis
